Finding Serenity Within a Chaotic World

The Choice Is Up To You !

An open hand with text stating God's desire to give us a eternal life.

“. . . . .  And there is salvation in no one else (Jesus); for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” Acts, Chapter 4, Verse 12

"How can I be saved, and what must I do?"

- Jesus is the ONLY way you can hope to be saved from being separated (sin) from God and Heaven.

- When Jesus died on the cross, he fulfilled God’s plan for salvation for the world.  Jesus sacrificed his earthly life for the forgiveness of all sin; one perfect sacrifice for all time.

- However, this does NOT mean everyone automatically has all their sins forgiven !

- If you want to be saved and forgiven of your sins, you must come to Christ (of your own free will) by being Baptized in water.

Still unsure what to do?  Ask yourself:

- Do you fear thinking about your death, without any hope of being in heaven?

Jesus calls to you in love, to change your heart and live for God, rather than the world.  It isn’t too late to turn to Jesus and be saved; Eternal Life in heaven awaits you!

1. Start by praying to God, confessing your past sins and your true desire to change and become a Child of God.

2. To be truly baptized, you need to fully understand the basis of why you need to be baptized. You should seek out a Bible-based church such as The Church of Christ or a Baptist Church.  This is important since a Bible-based church relies on ONLY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS (nothing added or taken away from the Word of God) as their basis of faith. Some denomination churches may not fully follow all aspects of the Bible as their basis of faith.

3. Speak to the church leadership, and express your desire to be baptized.  They will study with you from the Bible to make sure you understand the commitment you are making.  After you fully understand and of your own free will, they will baptize you. YOU ARE NOW A CHILD OF GOD.  YOU ARE SAVED!

4. As a newly baptized Christian, the temptations of the world make it easier for you to ‘fall away from the faith’; unless you are supported by other Christians to help you learn and grow in your faith.  You should become a member of the church and study the Bible with them to grow in your knowledge and faith in becoming a disciple of Jesus.

5. After you become mature in your faith, reach out and serve others in the world who need to know the good news of Jesus Christ.

6. Feel confident that if you remain faithful to the call of Jesus in this life, you will be rewarded in the next with Eternal Life.

What does the book of Revelation tell us about the final outcome after judgement is completed?

The Bible is God’s written word for us to read, learn and grow in knowledge about him and his purpose for us.
